I'm considering grabbing a couple pounds of dry ice on Halloween to make some fog on the table where I will be handing out my candy in the driveway.

Anything I should know ahead of time? I'm well that it will give you severe frostbite if not handled properly and must be kept in an unsealed container.

@voltronic the warmer the water you put it in the stronger the reaction. So a small container without a warmer will often poop out shortly into use. For dry ice fog effects in stage craft they have big barrels with heating elements in them. If you don't have any kind of warmer to use just make a point to change out the water for warmer periodically to keep the effect going
