Robinson under pressure to withdraw from gubernatorial race
'Sources with direct knowledge have spoken with Carolina Journal on the condition of anonymity and said that Robinson is under pressure from staff and members of the Trump campaign to withdraw from the governor’s race due to the nature of the story, which they say involves activity on adult websites in 2000s.'

@BillyBones Glad you did. My only confusion is will this big story be what you shared but on a bigger platform or will it be some new revelation?
@Fellixe That would be the least of his offenses. He ran a dangerous childcare facility with his wife to collect federal $$$, mocked kids who feared gun violence, claimed that abortion wasn’t about the life of the mother but a scheme to kill babies by women who were too irresponsible to “keep your skirt down.” Oh, and he thinks women shouldn’t or be leaders. His wife had an abortion but that’s different. He backed an absolute ban. He frequented local adult video stores EVERY DAY after work.
@Fellixe HMM. Not that I was going to vote for him, but in politics, "anonymous sources say" is a red flag to me.
@Lindy Depends on who's reporting. In many cases if a reliable journalist has only anonymous sources they are obligated to go the extra mile to verify. If it is coming from a shady outlet that values the views more than their reputation it is definitely bad sign

Another interesting tidbits. If Robinson does drop out now that it is too late to remove his name from early ballots his replacement would be allotted those votes.
