Roy Cooper & Josh Shapiro come off (to me!) as less authentic. They’re great, they won! Both are politician-y. Lol
Walz is very in tune with rural America.
Kelly very clued in on border problems.
@TheAbbotTrithemius @Anouk Kelly is also familiar with Senate procedure in a way that eliminates much of the VP learning curve and he had great skill at bringing conservatives along on issues which would be invaluable in moving legislation

Roy Cooper is actually 💯 authentic. He has done as amazing job in our state of NC especially fighting GQP to protect citizens during pandemic. He is NOT intimidated at all to take them on.
Cooper would balance Harris with his steady & reasonable demeanor.

@TheAbbotTrithemius @Anouk @Fellixe Tim Walz did an interview with Jen Psaki. Was the first I"d heard of the guy. He seems very genuine and warm. Personable. When he spoke about JD Vance wanting to take away IVF with Project 2025, he became a little angry. I believe his children were conceived through IVF. He said it was none of the government's business.
I'm no authority, but I liked the guy.

Yes, Hobbs picks the replacement but the bench of people who could win a statewide election in Arizona to hold that seat isn't especially deep. Its possible bringing Kelly onto the ticket helps down ballot races enough to help shift AZ into a bluer future but that's a pretty optimistic take on what could happen.
