@Boyceaz @Anouk @TheAbbotTrithemius I actually think its more of a hail Mary. Yes, Hobbs picks the replacement but the bench of people who could win a statewide election in Arizona to hold that seat isn't especially deep. Its possible bringing Kelly onto the ticket helps down ballot races enough to help shift AZ into a bluer future but that's a pretty optimistic take on what could happen.
