HBO cancelling Deadwood remains one THE WORST DECISIONS ever made by executives of a pay television network.
I will die on this hill.
@EdgeOErin I am right there with you. God, the writing was riveting: profane as it environs, and alive. The machinations of robber barons back then holds true today. The storyline of Hearst was brilliant. Knowing that at the time there were only three places with telegraph service (San Fran, Washington DC, & Deadwood) shows its importance in history. I miss that show.
Firefly enters the chat, realizes it was HBO, leaves.
@EdgeOErin Loved that f%$kin show.
@EdgeOErin I don't know, HBO has made a lot of bad decisions and more bad than good under this new CEO.
@EdgeOErin Rome, too.
