I am trying to authenticate my personal website link. I copied that line of html and added it to my website, but it hasn’t changed. Do I need to refresh something? I tried it with the code on the homepage and on another page but neither worked. Can anyone help? #coso #help

Did you check the User Guide for instructions?

And yes, In my experience, it sometimes takes WordPress 5 min or so to properly link to a site via web. Where i need to refresh a few times and sometimes even log out and return later.

@Bliss I couldn’t find it in the user guide but I’ll check again. I added that code to my website last night and it still isn’t showing the green check in CS. I will try logging out and logging in again.

FWIW, this has been a problem for *some* accounts (not all) since the DOS attacks in the end of October. I have two links on my profile attempting to use the rel="me" profile links: one is checked/green, the other is not, and they're on the same exact domain.

Someone last week said he got his to work (showed checked) and had set it up a few hours before.
