My brother is going to be okay 🥹
His friend was able to get gas and get over to my brothers house to assess tree blockage yesterday, his long drive is doable on foot.
His friend is heading over now to bring him food and water. 🥲

What I see on Nextdoor doesn't make me more scared. It makes me more annoyed and sad that I'm surrounded by people convinced that our quiet, nearly crime-free neighborhood is overrun with crime and violence, despite the fact they could look out the damn window.

I may have made a mistake. Friends son is off to basic for the Navy and asked for letters. Shared with my executive team, which is mostly veterans.
