@RefugeeResister The problem *is* in the ocean, but it may not be temperature. Acidification of the Oceans may wipe out ocean ecosystems in 30 years. 10 years after that, life on Earth is under imminent threat. Acid ocean water makes shell formation impossible, and carbo-shelled ocean life "fixes" huge amount of atmospheric carbon each year. #ClimateChange
@TheNewsOwl There is a strong case for investing heavily in residential, community and even commercial energy rebates. There's lots of space still on rooftops and private land for solar or wind farms. Local energy production is greener (less power lost in distance transmission), cheaper (you don't have to develop as many long-distance transmission lines through low population areas), more robust, and already connected to the grid (the production is already where consumption is.) #ClimateChange
@DevinY1 "Imminent"
@DJNoneYa I generally thought that the repressed needs in the evangelical right were bursting through and expressing as sexual deviancy. But the rate is so highly that I am beginning to think that everyone on the conservative right is in on it. I think everyone knows that the church is just a front, and this is just good ol’ boys being boys.
@LiberalLibrarian This is an irreversible trend. Atheism represents a plurality of Americans.
@REDonaldAuthor She is a rock star, and potentially one of the most impactful politicians of our time.
@PhillyBella You can fix sideways by doing a small edit to the photo and then upload it again. (CS strips metadata from images when you upload them--this can protect you, as some photos contain location information embedded in the meta data--but as a consequence the orientation data is also removed. So edit a photo, save it, the upload it will generally work.

@Veronique I think it might be how you know you have mice...
@Veronique No problem! I brought over three friends, and we lifted the car up, turned it on its side, and carried it along the walkway between the house and the adjacent fence, and out to the street! This parking job kind of reminds me of that experience.
@Veronique When I was in collage I bought a Triumph Spitfire. It was always breaking down, and at one point I parked it in the back yard of some of my buddies. We accessed the back yard through an alley from an adjacent street. They moved, but we had permission from the landlord to keep the car there until it could be fixed. Two years elapsed until I could afford the repairs, but when I went to get the car, I discovered that a fast food joint had opened and in doing so they built over the ally.
@MrGoat get electric. The Cretaceous called. It wants its gas back!

@LiberalLibrarian Do you think that there are six degrees of separation between General Tso and Colonel Sanders?
@SandHillThicket @peeppeepcircus Now I fear that 200' above sea level won't be enough.
