I don't know how it's supposed to work, or anything. But maybe just not enough people would be willing to leave Jack's old thing for Jack's new thing. But maybe if you destroy the old thing, send people scattering, and then promise them they can all be brought back together by the new thing?

I don't know. Like I said, I haven't seriously thought it out. I don't know enough to be able to.

And there's all that stuff about Jack kind of guiding Musk through the whole thing, and Jack still having a good chunk of his shares...

And Jack is supposed to be working on Blue Sky, a supposedly all-in-one social media platform.

Part of me wonders if maybe Musk isn't supposed to destroy Twitter. Like, maybe Blue Sky wouldn't really have any chance as long as Twitter is what it has been.

And his reply had something to do with how Twitter would cut years - I want to say he said it would be something like 10 years - off of plans for "X", which is supposed to be some kind of all-in-one social media platform.

The guy asking was kind of like (paraphrasing), "I don't think it would cut THAT many years off, but you know what you're doing better than I do."

And then you look at how Jack says he only really trusts Musk to save things there.

#Twitter - This isn't any kind of seriously thought out thing, just some ideas that have been floating in my mind.

I think it was a few days before #ElonMusk carried the sink into the office... I saw one of his fanboys asking why he was even going to make changes to Twitter. Why not buy it, shut it down, and replace it with something he built because they were sure he could do better in less time?

@Ryanwritespoems I agree. They were once helpful, but things have changed. They aren't needed. And it bothers me how people think this is a debate one can "win". That's not actually how they work.

@folkmagifili My grandmother taught me crochet. Grandmother's sister taught me basic knitting, but when I really took it up years later my husband taught me. My mother taught me embroidery and quilting.

I definitely have a fever. Apparently, I think it's a good idea to read Alan Moore and Phil Hine when I have a fever. I read them when I don't have a fever, too, but this is...well, it's something.

Glad I'm ahead on my #NaNoWriMo writing. I can be sick for a few days and will still likely finish. I'm at 22,300+ words.

@Oma_Trisha @you_mountebank Since they are non-epileptic, anti-seizure meds don't work. And it is possible this is related to the head injuries from a traumatic event several years ago. So they said don't drive, take showers - no baths or swimming. Other than that, things a pretty mild, so I have to let people at home know when I feel I need to be assisted with something or checked on. And the cats know, so sometimes they tell somebody.

@MrGoat Yeah, that's pretty much it! Even if I was staying over there, I had no intention of paying for it. I was happy to go pro here after less than a week.

@dreandmax Good luck! I don't usually write the way I do for NaNoWriMo. I learn a lot about what's going on in the background in my mind the rest of the time by doing it for one month, though.

I'm trying to not make everything I draw have be a "thing". Just see where ink and paint take me when I open the space sometimes.

@Museek Mary Oliver's work is some of my favorite poetry. I didn't find out about her until just a few years ago. Now I read her work every time I see it.

@PaganMother My grandfather was completely colorblind. Everything was light and shadow for him. So he taught me black and white photography. Even with color, that light and shadow matters. Too many photographers just don't quite get that. If you're good with it, I bet you could do great work. If you enjoy it, go for it!
