@th3j35t3r I appreciate everything you're doing here. I wish I had known about CoSo before. I never feel safe anywhere. I know too much to think "safe" exists. But I feel safer here than I thought was possible.

@Oma_Trisha @you_mountebank The neurologist said I'm having stress seizures, so we've been working to reduce my stress. It's great mentally...but physical stress does it, too.

@thathmc This will force me to stop putting off taking some rest days. So it will all be good in the end.

@you_mountebank Thank you. We're up on our shots, and we all know the extra precautions to take when I'm at risk for the seizures.

@Janet Thank you! Even with us being up on our shots, this isn't the first time someone in our house has had it. But people did get over it quickly before, and with fairly mild symptoms. So the shots were worth it.

Both of my sisters-in-law have been sick since yesterday and tested positive for #covid today. Every time I've been exposed I've had a major seizure a week or two later. So we have to watch me this month.

@luisprieto_author I can get around it by writing more stories with my favorite character and waiting to release them. If it was a novel, though, I might just turn the whole thing into her story. It's so fun to write from her point of view!

My new deck of cards has arrived! I'll have to take pictures later and tell the pirate story. That story is how I always break in a new deck of playing cards, and I'll be happy to tell it to y'all for the first time. (People who know me from other platforms can probably tell the story themselves by now.)

I hope all the work ends up being worth it. It sounds like a lot of work for a quilt back, but I can picture that making it a back that's worth not just ignoring.

@luisprieto_author My short stories allow for characters to turn up again, and there is one I fight myself to keep her quiet. I know she has more stories to tell, but so do other characters! She's a character I'd happily spend a day hanging out with.

Went ahead and ordered my Winner shirt for #NaNoWriMo . I probably will reach the 50k goal, but it's already a win for me even if I don't. This has been working me through some creative blocks and showing me where some of my limits are.

@DarksideStraxus I had a friend from Georgia (country) who came to the US as a middle aged adult. His accent was never going away. The look on people's faces when they asked where he was from and he simply said "Georgia" was always a delight for him.

With everything this night has been, I'd like to say CoSo is the most comfortable platform I've ever gone through one of these nights on.

#CoSoPolitics We have a queer interracial couple in our home. We also have an interracial couple that appears straight to the average passerby. We have three autistic people. We have four disabled people. One elderly person.

Our family has a lot riding on who is and isn't in office after tonight. I need to take a step back from the screen because I'm starting to worry our "allies" will just give up because not every election went like we wanted.

@TeamTweety I don't know if this would work for you. When I have panic attacks, I take slow deep breaths and visualize a color of the rainbow with each breath. Red. Orange. Yellow. Green. Blue. Purple.
