@umrk Thank you for saying this. I'm originally from Texas. The Gulf Coast, in fact. I remember things like seeing people on the Internet say the hoped a hurricane that was about to make landfall would just wash us off the map because of who our governor was at the time.

@th3j35t3r I'm not really surprised by anything happening there. Just surprised it's happening so fast. I thought he'd have the sense to do things slowly and quietly so that maybe most people wouldn't notice.

Really working on that whole "I can't change the world by worrying about it, except for how that will change the world by shortening my lifespan" thing. That's harder some days than others. I think I'm just worrying about worrying now.

@MsJudyJetson Yeah, when I heard about that, I was thinking, "This only works if all we have is President and Congress and they have equal power." I'm not saying our system of checks and balances doesn't have some holes, but that's not how they get mended.

@feloneouscat I'm happy to help make sure some tiny technical thing doesn't stop you from sharing. I've had those "Why didn't anybody tell me it wasn't working???" moments.

@th3j35t3r I say this sincerely. I love CoSo. You could be making a big deal about being an Internet hero and having the "real" social media power...but no. You're telling your community that imposter syndrome is getting to you. I love that it's safe to be vulnerable here.

@kel I don't know if I'll use the extra features. Maybe show up for movie night sometimes. Maybe. But I'm thankful to be in a place in life where I can help keep things going here with a few extra dollars a month.

Took a break tonight and just let shapes and colors spill out on paper. Set things up for art to do tomorrow. I've been working on ways to include ink and paint into my occult practices. #CoSoArt #CoSoPagans

@Keep_on_Kraken CoSo is the first platform I've felt socially safe in a long time. I'm not constantly watching out for how I might get bitten here.
