This place kinda reminds me of Seattle's KEXP, which is one of the last community powered terrestrial radio stations in the country.
It has tens of thousands of supporters all over the globe who chip in keep it going, but it is enjoyed by millions of listeners every single day. #RandomThoughts
The point is, you don't *need* to go Pro to enjoy the goings on here. There's more to it if you do and doing so helps to keep it alive, but I think your contribution is appreciated in whatever form it takes.
