THANK YOU, EVERYONE!
I deleted the previous post asking about reporting a Tweet, for safety reasons.
Thank you so much for all of your responses! I've seen a lot of empty talk, but there was something very different about that stuff. It helps that you all saw it, too.
I reported through the FBI's website, and gave them all the info I had.
Thanks again!
@OneLillieSpark thank you for taking notice and taking action.
I just couldn't dismiss it, or pretend I hadn't seen it.
I was in New York on September 11. My aunt's grave was desecrated in 2016 because it had a star instead of a cross. My uncle was murdered.
I've had enough chaos. Chaos is never the answer.
@PaganMother @OneLillieSpark There's a Langston Hughes poem that addresses that very thing. He died in the 60s and the poem sounds like it could have been written today.
No graphic violence or anything in the poem. But he addresses how many groups have never been included in "the American dream".
@weirdfizz @OneLillieSpark thank you for sharing that poem. Been looking for stuff like that. I find comfort in the written word of others that see things as they are.
