I'm considering grabbing a couple pounds of dry ice on Halloween to make some fog on the table where I will be handing out my candy in the driveway.
Anything I should know ahead of time? I'm well that it will give you severe frostbite if not handled properly and must be kept in an unsealed container.

Thanks to everyone for the replies. A fog machine rental is way more then I want to spend just to entertain the neighborhood kids when I don't have any kind of display otherwise. I was considering the dry ice because it's only about $5/lb.
@Toni_Walker @voltronic Same here… as kids my parents entertained us with it out out our reach… the fog and a flashlight in back of it was magical!

I'll just add that when we were kids we played with dry ice once every month for years and never had a mishap. The nearest full-fledged grocery store was 2 hours away, so my parents brought home the perishables with dry ice.
