I'm watching Star Wars: A New Hope original version restored and encoded in 4K and it's STUNNING. (I'm watching the DNR version, FWIW.)

It was a bit of hassle to get an invite to a special forum that has the download link, but it was so worth it. I think this one may supplant my typical Despecialized Edition viewing.

This is where you find the download links for it. You'll need to have your membership approved to join the forum.

Hey thanks for posting this!
Ive started what I think is supposed to be the 4K77 v1.4 file(s) but I am seeing a bunch of file names and extenstion of .srt... language files obviously but I cannot discen yet if this is what I'm supposed to be getting.. LOL
@thereg001
If you didn't get the files from theoriginaltrilogy.com forum or usenet, then you don't have the actual movie files. The .srt files are subtitles. The movie itself is something like 40-50 GB.
@voltronic
Thanks for the reply. Yea, I got the file keys from theoriginaltrilogy.com forum and are using this client "Resilio" to download. It's almost done with "A New Hope" files. Had a bit of a bugger with the client. Time Error on one of the peers out there, kina lame in that scenario... but seems to be chuggin along again Right after I made an "Advanced User" edit... but not sure if that actually fixed it or just a happy coincidence.
@dratino
@voltronic I have the original trilogy with all the originalspecial effects and even different audio - very cool stuff indeed! ENJOY the how my friend!
@voltronic ugh sorry, new keyboard - still getting used to the keys...
@voltronic watched the season finale of bad batch for may 4th. Will make it a point to try and watch this version!
