Also I'm aware that caulking is traditionally used at changes of plane to allow for movement, but the builder grouted everything and I'm trying to save money. So instead of spending $15 on the quart of premixed epoxy grout and then another $15 on mold resistant silicone caulk, I just did the grout everywhere. Hopefully it holds up.

seen a shower where the tiles were touching each other (no gap for grout, for real ) without any silicon at all.
took a while before it failed (like 8-10yrs iirc) 😆
