I have a friend who plays cello and hear there's a lot of repetitive notes for that instrument as well.

Between high school and college (in my late 30s) I went from Soprano 1 to Alto 2. I auditioned for an adult choir a few years ago as a mezzo but they already had enough of those!
@voltronic @Teej_Muk I went from T1 to B1 over a HS summer. Kept a t2 to B1until cancer treatment and now that's screwed. LOL
