TikTok was a stroke of genius by China. Not only the data sharing but it’s also contributing to the low enlistment numbers the armed forces are seeing. They typically advertise where the youths are. However, since they are forbidden to use TikTok due to security concerns, they can’t directly advertise to the under 25 crowd which is all over TikTok.

I suspected it was this bad when I realized it was controlled by the CCP. As soon as I figured that out, I started looking at it as a foreign spy program. Because that’s exactly what it is.

Tried to set up a disconnected sandbox for tiktok, and it wouldn't work at all. no way to log in or register
