@Siren_six
I actually tend to omit the first 6 measures when I "perform" this.
Then I play it again, in retrograde.

I sent this on to my brother the musical theater director for further elucidation. So as an explanation for the musical layperson, I relay his comment:
“It’s the sound of taking a wet rag, sliding it up the entire keyboard, back down, twice, then cleaning between the black keys in little dabs all the way up the keyboard.
Basically the same sound you remember of Mom cleaning the piano keys every couple of weeks as we were growing up.”

I feel I should put two warnings out there about cleaning piano keys:
1. I would not wipe horizontally (like the glissandi shown in this funny piece) because you could get moisture and dirt falling between the keys into the keybed. That would be bad.
2. On plastic keys, you're probably ok with disinfectant wipes. For real ebony and ivory, you only want to use a white cloth dampened with warm water and mild dish soap.
@voltronic Well it looks like composer is at least getting most of the keyboard clean. 🤪
