According to the FBI, between 1993 and 2022, domestic violence rates dropped by 67%. It's come up several times in the past couple of months: Generative AI is becoming part of the proposal process.
As much as I distrust it, I'm going to have to learn how to work with LLMs. If I don't I may find my skillset becomes outdated.
I played a little with ChatGPT but didn't find it fun or useful for my purposes and lost interest.
I don't really know what's being used in the proposal world, but need to find out.

Currently reading Lincoln in the Bardo by George Saunders. Listening to the audio while following the digital book. I'm about 60% through.
It's *brilliant*.
The story of Lincoln grieving his son, told by the ghosts who watch him in the cemetery, with snippets from historical texts, letters, articles etc, of people observing and commenting on the President.
So many distinct voices, coming together to paint a picture of the liminal place of grief.
This is likely to be a new all-time favorite.

Just made a quick white bean spread and had it with sourdough toast.
1 can cannellini beans, drained
1/2 teaspoon Penzy's Parisien herbs
1 tsp olive oil
1 TBS dijon
(I didn't actually measure any of these ingredients, so start with a little and adjust to taste.)
Mash with a fork, until about half the beans are mush. Stir. Warm in microwave. Taste. Adjust.
The same ingredients would make a great salad if you didn't mash it and added a little vinegar.

While I am on a quest to be a nicer person, I am not on a quest to be a _different_ person.
I'm always going to speak out when people justify harm to others.
I will never think it is okay to bomb or terrorize civilians.
I will never think something that is wrong is okay when "good guys" do it. I will think it makes them into the bad guys.
I don't have any special "chosen people". All sentient beings are my "chosen people".
