Weird how the government trusts parents to make decisions about their clearly violent and dangerous child. Decisions that killed 2 other children and two teachers.
But the parent of a transgender child can't choose to allow their child puberty blockers to save their life...
Nobody ever committed a mass murder with a puberty blocker.
On FB today, there was an article about the city of Austin putting in 40 license plate recognition cameras.
The responses were full of people ranting about the loss of privacy, saying it's liberals trying to control people, and similar complaints.
But... it was news because Austin is only now installing them. They're already in many other Texas cities. They're on the tollways. AND these people were posting on *Facebook*.
Many of them probably from phones that also track them.
Wild stuff!

Dunno if anyone here is in Grand Prarie. A few of my friends are.
Water has been contaminated with fire retardant, and the city has issued a do not use warning...residents in the affected area should have zero contact with tap water. That includes things like drinking, washing and cooking.
Roughly 60,000 people are affected and they don't know how long it'll take to clear the water supply.
I'm currently reading Woodworm by Layla Martinez. It's a weird little ghost story, and I'm enjoying it.
But as much as the story, I love the physical book itself. The font, the layout, the fabric cover, the art and cover design.
So I looked up the publisher--and now I want all of their books.
Arcane season 2!
Arcane is one of the best video game adaptations ever made. Probably *the* best. One of the best animated series ever made. Stunning art. Great action. Cool magic and tech. An emotional story.
If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend you check it out. You don't need to know anything about League of Legends. (I didn't.)
I'm hoping season 2 is good.
