Kids are targeted for anything that sets them apart, and it's normal for them to have a hard time dealing with that.

To be fair, Hallmark isn't my thing but they make such a huge volume of movies that they're a good source of work for people in the industry. I know a couple of screenwriters who make a living writing for them. And they treat folks decently.

I'm wrapping up a draft of two documents and turning them over for review.

I just closed them both, thinking I was done. My manager needs to take a look at one of them, but then they can go to the next step in the process.

BUT, I wrote p 5 on the back of my hand. I remember doing it, so that I'd go back and edit something. But I don't know if I did it. Or what the change was, or even which document it was in.

This could be fantastic.

I recently read about the chow mein sandwich, and then I had some leftover pad thai with extra sauce, which made an amazing sandwich. (I added crispy fried onions.)

So pasta sandwiches are a thing, I guess, for those days when we need multiple layers of carbs.

(Also in the carbs on carbs category, the Vada Pav--an Indian fluffy potato fritter on a soft bun with chutney and chilis.)

I'll never gush about Biden. He's done so much damage as a "centrist" over his career and he embodies the neo-liberal approach to governing.

However, I have been pleasantly surprised by some things his administration has done, often quietly, regarding trans rights. I do find myself wondering who in his administration has been spearheading that 'cause it ain't him or the VP.

I do. I follow several channels (mostly people who talk about books or writing, some cooking channels, some musicians)... and logging in means I see mostly the folks I sub to and similar channels.

I am also considering starting a book review channel myself, but would probably create a separate dedicated ID for that.
