Do people actually log in to services like YouTube? Why?

I do. I follow several channels (mostly people who talk about books or writing, some cooking channels, some musicians)... and logging in means I see mostly the folks I sub to and similar channels.
I am also considering starting a book review channel myself, but would probably create a separate dedicated ID for that.
@tyghebright The three channels I am interested in are stored in my bookmarks for checks when I feel like. Still no motivation to login.
