To attend, people must sign Musk's petition supporting free speech and the right to bear arms and have already voted in Pennsylvania.

The problem is not the petition, but the requirement to vote to attend Musk's event. Federal law prohibits making or offering to make "an expenditure to any person, either to vote or withhold his vote, or to vote for or against any candidate."

a). The app is not only free but also ad-free.

b). The app stores take a cut of all charges, including in app-purchases - especially Apple.

c). If I offered either of the above they want my personal details. If I'm not handing them yours, they're sure as fuck not having mine.
