Not to mention states that outlaw abortion also tend to have very little financial and social support for new parents.

If they really wanted fewer abortions, they'd do what's been shown to work:
Better sex ed
More access to contraception
Support for new parents

But what they really want is control

@sfleetucker @janallmac @davejefferynf

A lot of prenatal healthcare was being done by clinics that also performed abortions. Abortion laws result in a many of those clinics being shut down. Also in OB/GYNs leaving the state or changing their specialty.

As a result, in places like Texas, there's a shortage of care for pregnant people. And higher maternal and infant mortality.

Soup for breakfast rocks.

I sometimes like a mug of hot broth in the morning. Especially after Thanksgiving when I've made turkey stock.

@mikeharmanos

Yes. They've figured out how to manipulate the impact of their polls. And many of the polls that are included in aggregators who want to capture everything are *terrible* hacky partisan operations. They literally only exist to manipulate this data, and don't hold up to any kind of examination.

I remember when the TMNT graphic novel came out, someone telling me it was a rip off of Lone Wolf and Cub.

How cool are these Native guys at a rodeo in 1941. 😂 great colorized photo!

@DevinY1

Heh. I sincerely doubt it. Early turnout and big turnout almost always favors Dems.

Star Telegram is a great win for Allred.

Voting should be a major community event like this.

This AMAZING. North Carolina Central University hosted a “Soar to the Polls” with a marching band & just look at how many young people showed up to soar to the polls. This is why we’re going to win. These young people are going to save us.

NC breaking voting records. Party voting is about even, but the important votes are the Unaffiliated.

In NC, Unaffiliated means you can choose in which primary you want to vote. It's most commonly used to be able to vote in local primaries where the primary winner IS the winner as all candidates are from a single party.

IOW, red counties. 😃
