My favorite bloody mary recipe uses beef broth. Been ages since I made it, but used to mix it up in bulk for the bar where I was chef. I think technically, that's a bloody bull.
If I remember correctly, it was 1/8 cup per 1 cup tomato juice. Plenty of lemon and horseradish. Dashes of hot sauce. A tiny amount of celery seed. Black pepper.
(If you're using beef broth, no need for Worcestershire.)

The best thing about bloody marys? They are fantastic even without the vodka. For a year after my heart attack (in 2017), I couldn't have any booze because of the blood thinners. They were a great thing to order when I was out.
(I have found that places that serve food typically do them better than straight bars.)
And I pretty much lost the taste for booze that year, and now only drink on very rare occasions so I still enjoy them.
@tyghebright That sounds really good. I was a bartender and had my own recipe that was very similar, but never considered beef broth.
I don’t drink them too much anymore. They give me heartburn.
