How many games:
- Continually improve for eight years
- At no charge to the players
- Retain a strong base of players
- Get enough new players with each major update to keep the player base strong
No Man's Sky really is impressive. The latest update is pretty stunning.
@tyghebright I highly doubt Starfield will have a successful track record like this, but they are planning on several expansions over the next few years. Here's hoping 🤞🏼
I haven't really gotten into Starfield, but it's no fault of the game. It came out around the time I got back into reading, so I just don't spend much time playing video games right now.
So, I went to Steam and bought it, but found it unplayable. I was completely lost - I learned how to shoot rocks, but that's about all.
Never figured out how to pick plants, walk, or anything else.
A walk through or guide might have helped, but the mouse was way, way too twitchy anyways.
Hard pass.
Not every game is for every person. I hope you were able to get a refund, since you didn't play it long.
@tyghebright Yep. No problems. Steam is pretty good about that.
It's fun watching brand new players discover NMS
