We had a similar thing locally, when one of my friends was turned away from a barber who didn't want to cut a gay man's hair.
We got a whole munch of femme men and drag queens to make appointments.
Guy ended up closing for a week and clearing all his appointments. Lost his reputation and never fully recovered.
And man, he's lucky that's all that happened, because he made my friend *cry*.
He was a work friend, and a bunch of us were ready to hulk smash, but he talked us down.
