@tyghebright THIS holy shit, this. I cannot count how many people I've met and befriended over the years online, and yes some I've ended up pretty much chosen family with. I have godchildren, grandchildren, and great grandchildren across the country as part of my chosen family. I am the mama "bear" dragon, I protect those I can, and try to help those I am able to. I might not have much on hand, but I use my skills to the best of my ability to try against all odds.

@tyghebright I have made online friends that check in with me from time to time. It's nice. It's also low commitment so easier for both sides.
