Holy shit! Massive panels of glass just flew off the Fountain Place building or the construction site behind it.
Huge torrents of rain are gushing around it. And approaching my building.
There's been no sirens or alerts, but I am hiding in my bathroom.
That was surreal as fuck.
I noticed these dark things in the air -- thought it was trash, like pieces of cardboard, and was trying to figure out where it was coming from... then realized the SIZE, and that they were the same color as the glass in the building across from me.
6-foot high panels of glass, several of them, being tossed around in the air like plastic bags, over a hundred feet up in the air.

I can't imagine what would have happened if one of those sheets of glass had hit my windows.
I just read there were 60-70 MPH winds.
Storm seems to have mostly passed. That was fast.
There's still clouds but no rain and little wind.
The visible side of the skyscraper across from me seems undamaged, so the debris must have been from the construction site on the other side, which is almost as tall a building.
I hope no one was injured by flying plate glass.
