Make sure you double check your clarinet...good Monday reminder

The veggie powder ("fairy dust" for the kiddo's food) is actually rather tasty. It now has carrots, green beans, peas, and beets. I tried some, it's lightly sweet, just beety enough to cover the pea flavor, without being too beety. A good start.

Part of why I'm doing this is my daughter's immune system seems to be suffering from her picky habits, so I did my first indoor ginger harvest :). I put the rhizomes with the largest root systems back in. I might try a little orange peel next.

I have a picky child and dog that I cook for (not Lacy in the background, she loves everything) so I'm doing the old trick of cooking, dehydrating, and making powders of veggies to stir into sauces, cookies, ice cream, hide in a pb&j, whatever. This is a pound of carrots.

Starting a box of emergency foods to keep on hand, and now I want to make a bedazzled bug-out bag for funsies.

Joe got a security camera lightbulb so he could spy on Romeo and try to figure out how he's escaping, lol. That dog is smart, we've plugged up so many routes, he just finds another. I can bend over for 10 seconds to pull a weed, he's gone.

I’m a day late but HAPPY BELTANE EVERYONE!!!

(Not sure who made the 1st pic but the 2nd is artwork by - she’s among my faves and she’s super nice.)
