Hi guys, guess what? My power went out Sat night, so Tue my MIL rescued us and swept us out to the country, I get to stay in a cabin with no Wi-Fi chasing bugs! I got to watch a thunderstorm on a covered porch! I heard Tulsa was declared in a state of emergency or something, anyway see y'all later.

Oh, thank the gods. I finally got an alert for severe thunderstorms in the area. I should have been getting those alerts from April to June, not starting in June.

Omgs you guys, I love @Alfred so much. I will totally pay monthly money just to watch people interact with @Alfred.

My whole life is getting amazed by things, until they engulf me, and I come up, and all the details of my life have fallen apart, and I tell the people around me the cool thing I found and they say, "Cool." I guess they just kind of forgive the chaos 'cause I paid them in "cool".

I went looking through my photos for something else and found the grackle photo by Nancy Wagner, nature photographer. She is gone. I don't know the details, a relative on Twitter simply said she passed. But I will never look at a grackle the same way again. Look what she caught.

Grumpy just looks startled in brighter light. I had to get a pic of him tonight, before the rain starts. If it is some kind of jelly fungus, it should be swollen from the rain tomorrow, right? I think? Either that or it will decide I keep coming back, so maybe it will smile and invite me in to meet the missus.

Trying to convince my man a donation to wolf habitat conservation that comes with a stuffed toy is the best birthday present for the six year old, wish me luck.

Okay, I can already tell the mushroom thing is going to cut into the scant time I have to work on this coloring book, but frankly, any obsession that rises above the fibro stiffness that keeps me trapped in this house is so good, I know I'm gearing up to walk number four, and I'm feeling the pain, and bring it. I just gotta see the grumpy jelly fungus and the dead tree, how have they all been today?

Hello, you looked like a puffball, and you have gills, pretty sure you are poison. But you look rather charming and pleasing today.

More shots of yesterday's fungus, from less grumpy clusters. A dead tree nearby is full of it. I think it's jelly fungus after it's dried up some, but I know nothing. I got two new mushroom hunting books, it's going to be a fungi filled summer. This tree was surrounded by little mysteries, and I know where more dead trees are too. I need to take it easy today. I've got fibro and I've been walking too much. The dead trees in the neighborhood are calling to me. I think I'm going to take a walk.

Found on this evening's walk, and apparently twilight was the exact right time to snap the shot. It looks grumpy that it was disturbed.

I haven't been checking for eggs this year, might travel this summer so I didn't think I should, but I saw this guy who is in the Buckeye family, couldn't pass him up. He's in a habitat now, in a dark place to rest. Daughter named him spiky.

I keep sharing this guided meditation I wrote with people in messaging, so I figured I'd go ahead and share it with the world.

My friend is in Ecuador right now and he's taking a lot of orchid pics, but not labeling them. This is some sort of beautiful Cattleya.
