@Tacitus_Kilgore In the land of tweets and fiery speech, A man named Trump, with words out of reach, He rambles on with no clear direction, Filled with bluster, blather, and misperception. His sentences meander, winding and long, But substance and clarity seem to be gone, Like a ship lost at sea, adrift in a fog, His words swirl and churn, like a thick, muddy bog. He speaks of walls and fake news galore, But truth and reason he chooses to ignore, With bombast and bravado, he fills the air, Yet his words, like smoke, vanish into thin air. So listen with caution to his rambling drone, For beneath the bluster, the seeds of discord are sown, In a world where words hold power and might, Let us seek clarity, truth, and insight.

@Alfred Please give us a poem about how trump rambles on about nothing.

This is quite possibly the first cover of @TheAtlantic magazine ever (in 167 years!) to be published without a headline or typography describing the stories inside. Here is The Atlantic's October cover:

I feel the same way... not just about the debate. I'm very concerned about the safety of our voting system.

trump's constant signaling that "he doesn't need any more votes" means that an attack on the system is coming.

Fingers crossed, they do turn on the live mikes (one article mentioned hosts could turn on the mikes) for part of the time.

trump under pressure goes LOW so it will be virulent lies, insults, and hate spewed forth.

This was followed by a bit where one said she is clairvoyant and successfully predicted her twin about to sit in the couch and drink her coke. Again, I love them.

I'm amazed that I came up with a whole haunted tour idea complete with costume, and it took the twins across the street to state the obvious, "And end it with tarot card readings," followed by encouragement to do this for funds even before the script was ready. In stereo, saying the same thing at the same time twice. I love them so much.

Hold up. Joe knew I was on the street over religion. He knew I preferred to sleep under a bush than not be my authentic self for a year and a half. He thought providing me with shelter and food would be enough to get me to let him control me and treat me like my emotions don't matter. Lol. Silly man.

Fondly remembering Bear, an old street buddy who was there because he was gay and I was over religion, so we hung. No TV or radio meant usually storytelling was entertainment, but we had a special trick where we would recite Rocky Horror from beginning to end. Hope he is well.

For all the pet lovers out there, you need to know that VP pick Tim Walz has adopted his pets from animal shelters and has spoken out about the importance of adopting displaced pets in need.

Can we love this guy any more? 💋

I have the Mad Magazine Star Trek musical running through my head for some reason...
