Per WBUR, "Fees — which usually range from $15 to $500 — will be waived for rabbits, mice, rats, guinea pigs, hamsters, parakeets, roosters and pigs, along with older cats and dogs."
If you know any puzzle lovers that might need a Christmas or whatnot gift, just found this. Really cool wooden puzzles that have science based themes, one of them becomes a playable chess board, the shapes aren't "puzzle" shapes, very cool stuff.
The lamp might be a tad out of most of our budgets, but the effect should be admired.
@Jeber True! Bananas are threatened because they are a monoculture propagated by dividing. Every banana in most american grocers is the Cavendish banana, and the banana plants they come from are all genetically identical. this leaves bananas weak as heck to many viruses.
This has happened before, to the predecessor to our current commercial bananas. The reason banana flavor doesn't taste like banana is because it was fashioned after the Gros Michel banana, which is now functionally extinct.
Nature, science, and art are super cool. Terribly sorry for the stuff that doesn't fit.
She/they cishet.
