The other day I was teaching my daughter about the Mayans, and we learned that they had a shade of blue that remains vibrant despite the passage of thousands of years, and scientists never figured out how to make the pigment. I've spent the last few days being occasionally sad about this beautiful lost shade of blue.

Another cellular design is in my store, featuring Venus Flytrap digestive glands, this time the slides were lit from above rather than below (though I do like the stained glass effect on the other design). How about a science type mousepad, or perhaps a scarf? Or maybe you want to show off that you know tippitiwichet, a common name for Venus Flytrap, is also an archaic euphemism for female bits with a nicely immodest miniskirt.

Sudden urge to belch phrases in Klingon GAH why didn't I take the time to learn Klingon back when I was a wee teen with a crush on Wil Wheaton? Of all the tragic wastes of our youth.

Ditches in my area are starting to look like this. If the mowers don't get them, I'll let these grow a bit and then grab them for a pot of wild chives on the windowsill. You can't eat spring onions that grow by the side of the road, but you can bring them home and grow them in clean soil for free chives :).
