I intended to stop drawing for a bit and write up a page promoting my tarot readings by now, but I have been kidnapped by the myth of Persephone and am switching back and forth between researching and skull art. So, if you want a free one card reading, that's the CoSo special, or a 3 card reading (past, present, future) for $5, or an elemental reading for $10, DM me.

"Hey Joe, you remember that time your weird-ass ex gave us creepy art and some pagan shit for Christmas?"

"Shhh, she's in the room."

Like Walmart, I'm already preparing Christmas stuff. Or Solstice, whatever. Will have a sappy message of Universal peace across all religions from Hades, one of the mythological reasons for all the seasons. And a rainbow skull. Will get them scanned in about a week.

It's nearly 2am, just a few days until Halloween, so naturally I'm awake and listening to relaxing spa music while planning my family's Christmas cards. I'm thinking block printing something that I will then attach a poem to about the true meaning of Christmas, from Hades's POV. Each card will have unique details in the art. They will either love them or hate them, lol.

Cool, I misspelled the field I have a bachelor's in and only now noticed. Glad it's just the sketch, lol.

Check out my super fancy new business cards. Decided I didn't want to pull out my ratty old wallet for tarot tips, so I'm going with a Crown Royal bag and a business card holder. I decorated a portable chair. I'm a cardboard sign away from sitting in the park to offer readings.

Pulled the King of Pentacles as a tarot art prompt, so I'm leaning in to the Santa interpretation and am making Christmas cards. This time dressing up Bob the Skull means I'm also revealing the other side of the Winter King, the Lord of Death. I guess that makes him Hades, again.

Here's some of the spooky season "Silent Sunday" pics I'm throwing up on Mastodon today. These were taken in NYC and Rhode Island, cemeteries around here are boring.

I keep looking at this one and remembering the time I disqualified for an art scholarship because in my "lifelike" drawing, my pears were blue. It was much more realistic than the rest of the portfolio, but oh well. Alas, portraying things realistically just isn't any fun.

Cool, Redbubble has holographic stickers now, so I get to offer you even prettier skull art in little affordable minatures! Buy any 4 and get 25% off.
Buy any 10 and get 50% off.

And for the last of today's store updates, I have a pair of drawings that will always make me smile, because I used my 9 week old rescued stray kitten as an art supply.

There are mousepads, so a kitty can be catching your mouse, and a fishy shaped pet food mat. Go crazy cat ladies, go!

Here's another lovely lady you can get a print of, if you so desire :)

Yup, I seem to enjoy dressing up my skulls, there will be more in this style :).

Persephone and Hades, The Lord and Lady of the Underworld are now for sale. These are the first of several drawings I've been working on for a few traditionally drawn colored pencil pieces for art prints, rather than things I drew so I could have a cool tote bag or mug.
