Well, it’s official. I’m scheduled to get a full knee replacement in February. I’m still processing the reality of it, but I am very impressed with my orthopedic surgeon. I opted NOT to go with the big “corporate” practice that specialized in joint replacement. Some people love them, but many others have horror stories. One woman complained that her leg was shorter after a hip replacement, and their answer was, “Don’t worry about it… we’ll fix that when we do your other hip.” 🤔

@cassandra17lina Get a bone density test first! My friend got her knee worked on and they didn't do that, big problems. They should have done it automatically due to her age, and did not.

@tippitiwichet I’ve had several bone density tests plus x-rays and an MRI. This knee has been well studied but thank you for the good advice.
