WAAAAAIIIITTT "Morning Star" = Satan to Gaiman (my shortcut 'cause he has mythology facts), so is also the brightest thing we see on the horizon = Venus = love = Satan is love. Howdy @AskTheDevil
@AskTheDevil I have differing pop cultures than most, if I missed someone on the Satan = Lucifer Morningstar thing, well, it's in Gaiman's comic book and his interpretation of the devil.

@tippitiwichet I would say "satan" and "lucifer" aren't names, they're titles. Job descriptions. "Opposition" and "Light Bearer". I don't see why someone couldn't be both. Especially with the next few years looming in the US. @AskTheDevil

There's also a difference between Satan, and a satan, the Devil, and _a_ devil.

I'd point out that the light-bearer isn't the light, or the origin of it. They're a carrier and seeker of the light. The job isn't to have it and dole it out and make people come to you for it, it is to spread it so that we can all see things and find our way in the dark.

@tippitiwichet I do like the Lucifer in the comics, and feel there are many similarities with myself.
Except he's ruthless, and often doesn't care what happens to anyone. He's selfish and self-centered, and that's not correct.
