The nation trying to traverse the stages of grief but getting sent back to stage one before we can even start to move to stage two is fucking everything up.

We can’t get to a point of making clear decisions when our collective head is swimming with grief.

Seems like it’s part of the goal.

Keep restarting us in denial, keep us from getting to angry.

But I’m seeing we’re adapting to long term trauma, and are getting to anger anyway.

maybe?

@Coffee_and_Salt It's certainly part of the goal. When we start getting to the point of talking enough to even clarify the disinformation, we might be able to start forming coherent plans, so it's time to attack another vulnerable angle. If you keep it moving fast enough, and suppress outcomes and reminders of previous goals, everything goes much more according to plan.

@tippitiwichet you’ve described it precisely. The speed is the factor. And damn it if it’s not happening as fast as it would take.

It’s hard to smooth a path to making the necessary changes when we can’t get words out for sobbing.
