@ThenScottWrote It has reminded me the most of old late-90s streaming chat services. Just a bunch of people having a grand old time, and it just streams by at hyperspeed.
@you_mountebank Look up Coin Game on Steam..... It's an open world arcade simulator (think Chuck E Cheese style arcade) skee ball, coin pushers, that thing where the light goes around and you hit a button to make it stop on the jackpot... There's also a county fair, as well as lottery scratchers and laser tag. For some reason, the game has a survival mode........
That's basically what takes up most of my free time.
@OValencia I need to redo it in higher res... There had to have been a reason I did such low res. I had a career as a graphic artist, so the only thing I can think is that I could only pull a low res image of Paul!
I also made a James A. Garfield and Friends!
@WTFGOP One can only hope.
@BillyBones Also, PSA for anyone reading this... Don't just take turtles you find! This one was clearly not wild and not native, and we were instructed by a herpetologist that it needed a home. Wild turtles (as with other animals) should generally stay wild, no matter how cute and pocketable they are. Often times, removing it from the wild means stress and death on a turtle.
@BillyBones My wife works at a nearby museum that has turtles, and all my friends were already referring to her as "the turtle girl" and the amount of turtle things in the apartment is insane... So I had already been thinking "we should get a turtle" and then she just finds one and is all "Would it be okay with you if I brought him home?" We love the little guy!
@BillyBones We're not sure, but our guess is a dog. His shell had some damage behind his head but it's healed and grown back pretty well.... Literally rescued him after his previous owner apparently decided to just leave him by a pond in Lincoln Park.
@BillyBones We named our turtle Lefty Wilbury because he's missing his left foot!
@TrishaGreenie Apparently redraft didn't redraft for me........
The last 2 Dreaming albums sounded more like SW, and then they just got the name back and added a member of Orgy and a member of Static X.
@TrishaGreenie Yeah they announced shortly after their 2001 album that they were starting work on a new one, then within a week announced their breakup. Much of the band (minus the drummer who owned the band name somehow) reformed as The Dreaming. Their first album, the label had a separate producer redo the album before release, stripping the industrial sound and making it sound glam, so the band wasn't happy about that.
@TrishaGreenie After getting Walter Flakus back for the third The Dreaming album, they got back rights to the SW name and brought back their original mixing, mastering, and production team... The entire album and the several EPs leading up to it thrilled me, finally hearing them like this again!
Any Stabbing Westward fans that haven't heard their new album (first in 20± years) it's incredibly worth checking out. It's like they never left.

I remember watching this when it aired... This began my love of Chris Isaak. HAD to go to Target to get the album (on cassette) the very next day.

@etakeh At least we know the connection was there! That alone makes me happy.
@etakeh They had to have... I can't believe their paths never crossed, and Roy would have absolutely been thrilled to play with her.
The one... The only...
