I think a lot of it is going from poor nobodies to rich influencers in seconds flat. Not only are they getting paid to do it but people are agreeing with them which, to them, makes it seem alright. Which in turn makes them turn a blind eye to who is financing them.

These are the bees in my back yard. A friend put a hive here because of all the wild native flowers around here. I have been monitoring the bees that I see and I'm getting tons of different species all over my yard this year.
