It still tickles me that someone made an album of zeppelin covers and called it " The Song retains the Name"

We are secrets to each other
Each one's life a novel
No one else has read
Even joined in bonds of love
We're linked to one another
By such slender threads

I remember when it all started getting darker. "Americas Funniest Home Videos" Where we laughed at videos of cats and dogs and babies doing things that made us laugh. It started to morph into people doing stupid things that we could laugh at. Then people intentional doing stupid shite. Then the "Reality TV" trend where we watched people debase themselves for money. now we have "Influencers" dying for the likes.

Just listened to Rush 2112 side 1. They almost lost their recording contract because of it. The most brilliant album of all time as far as I see.

I listened to Styx "Crash of the Crown" the other day and it felt to me that they have lost the "Styxness" that made them one of my favourites.
Musically it is a good piece of work, but it seemed to me like they were bouncing back and forth between trying to sound like Pink Floyd and then Queen, and the originality of the Styx sound was somehow missing.
I'll probably still buy it though.
