Boy! Omicron-2 is infectious! The whole family is getting sick and we weren't together! Colorado, Wisconsin, Minnesota. Fever, sneezing, and head congestion, sometimes punctuated with terrible stomach symptoms.

Here's a rhetorical analysis on W.B. Yeats' poem "the fish," that I wrote for an English lit class. I'm sharing it here because the subject matter gave pause for some very fruitful reflection. inserviceofthereal.quora.com/R

Would you believe that the mere act of taking your dog for a walk can culminate in authentic mystical experience? I'm sort of weird that way... lol inserviceofthereal.quora.com/T

@jordicusmaximus yes, open-minded communication tends to lead to that. 👍

@sufisamwise I think you and I will get along just fine. 😊

@jordicusmaximus, I agree with your point that a lack of empathy is also implied; while I may not have used the word empathy in the original post, for me empathy was naturally implied, because empathy for others more frequently leads to considering their viewpoints, while a lack of empathy usually predisposes us not to consider others' views.

@spacesloth this professional budtender/grower supports your right to have more than half a bowl.

@jordicusmaximus specific exceptions can always be found to principles that are generally true, wouldn't you agree?

@jordicusmaximus, the necessary context for your situation differs from that of the people I was referring to. In their instance, that context is unnecessary: they have personal choice. In your situation, the choice is made for you, and necessarily so.

@ContentWarningVirusB42 and really, because I said FAR right, it should have been clear that I'm referring to extremists, rather than the generality. Besides, it's fine for any conservatives to hold those beliefs; it becomes inappropriate when they attempt to diminish others' rights and freedoms based on those beliefs. And THAT is IS form of extremism.

@ContentWarningVirusB42 the reason I would disagree with you on your contention that I'm painting with too broad a brush, is that I intentionally said "FAR" right instead of merely "right," precisely because I did not intend to apply this to conservatives who don't deserve that characterization. Semantics really do matter.
