@PatrickKay One of the funniest things: Atheists tend to adhere more closely to the morals expressed by the Christ character than people who most strongly preach their Christian virtue.
Might have something to do with basing your morals on something other than religious doctrine.
Evangelicals have a very odd relationship with their god. He is their "father" - so they spend their time doing terrible shit either with the thought that they want to "try to get away with something", or that "he loves ME so he'll forgive me". It's so very juvenile. These are people who don't want to grow up and accept responsibility for themselves. Totally fits that they also want a political dictator who behaves like they behave.
@sirgeefive @PatrickKay You hit the nail on the head, atheists don't believe in any god. I do however believe in kindness if I can't help someone at least don't hurt them.
