This is one of my favorite spots here in Costa Rica. Playa Grande. First saw this 11 years ago and still love it. There are many beaches here but this is as perfect as they get.

Stopped by one of our parks on my early morning walk. This is in remembrance of the Ox carts that used to travel this route before the cars and trucks took it over. The sign painted on the wall says.
"the wagons roll along the dream routes". Pretty cool park. Lots of them around here. There is still a cart factory that runs on water power and still produces carts not far away.

Nicaragua is beautiful. They serve Rum and Coke by putting a bottle on your table and you can help yourself. Also, the food is awesome. The seafood is fresh and the Steaks are awesome and it is all cheap. If you get a chance you should go. We go for weekends since we live in Costa Rica. It's an amazing place.

There is a restaurant a few km's from our house called Palo Santo. It means "holy wood" in Spanish,
It is used medicinally and spiritually. Very cool drive to this place through the property and great scenery from the dining area. Overlooks a green valley. So we went inside and this is what we found. Not sure why but it is a Superman display. Did they mean Hollywood? Strange to walk into a beautiful restaurant and see this. 😜 Just thought some of you might like this.

The roosters here start crowing at about 1:30 in the morning. About the same time I get up. Dogs don't start barking until the sun comes up about 5 am. Shortly after the birds start singing and chirping. By that time it sounds like a chorus. It also means it's time to start breakfast. Love this place.
