It's always hard when we're slammed at work and we can't fit anymore patients in and I have an upset owner yelling at me on the phone because we can't see their dog. Sweet older woman client at work had to take her dog to the emergency vet because she was sick and found out it was from grape toxicity. She didn't know grapes/raisins are toxic and has been giving her 2-3 as treats most days she has grapes in the house. She was devastated she made her sick. So, here's your PSA to make sure anything you give your pets is safe for them to eat!!!

Taking covid tests is anxiety-inducing. 15 minutes of "please don't be positive" like I'm taking a pregnancy test after a one night stand. But.. happy day, this one says I'm negative. Not a hint of a 2nd pink line. These are just general common cold snots. 👍 Just testing to be safe.

I've awaken (awoke?) the last few mornings with a super sore throat. I'm guessing it's a combo of having a stuffy nose, probably mouth breathing in my sleep without knowing it, and my bad luck. It's not pleasant.

So.. um.. where exactly does one go for those awful haircuts little boys get where they just have a tuft of hair left at the base of their head? Surely no barber is doing that willingly to children. I thought it died with the 90s, but I guess not.

A while back I discovered a podcast called True Crime Obsessed, which discusses various documentaries in a comedic manner. I made a list of the documentaries they watch so I can listen to the corresponding episode and understand what they're talking about. Some of the docs I have to wait for to come back around to streaming services. Currently watching Jesus Camp and after only a few minutes in I'm like "Ohhhh boy..."

It's amazing to me how obsessed my cat is with those Churu pureed meat tubes. I cut all of his nails and he didn't even care. Just tried to eat the tube whole. #CatsofCoSo

Why do I always stay up way too late when I have the next day off? Probably because I have FOMO from working all day. I used to get home around 2:30 and had the whole rest of the day to get stuff done. Now I get home more like 6-6:30 and only have a few hours. Definitely not enough time for all the things I want to read, watch or do.
