Decided to watch the Hawaii 5.0 reboot from 2010 from the beginning since it's one of the shows on constant syndication rotation in the house that my mom watches. I always get sucked into it when she's watching. First episode? James Marsters AND Norman Reedus playing terrorists. Two of my favorite actor people. Crazy.

My mom is infuriating. She got something from the DMV in April about an insurance compliance issue and didn't say anything until now. When her registration is due in 10 days. The kicker? The compliance issue is about my dad and his truck. My dad died last January. She never took his name off *her* registration. It's her name or/joint his name. So now I had to scramble to copy his obituary, write up a letter, copy a bunch of other things and drop it in the mail. ARGH!!!

Shipping him to Abu Dhabi.

Garden update!!! Tomatoes and cucumbers are growing like crazy! I still need to build my little trellis for the cucumbers, but it's going well. This year might end up being a win after all.

I bought my first pair of Crocs for work probably around a decade ago. I still have them. This is the first new pair I've gotten in almost as long and I absolutely HAD TO. Worth every penny.

I was gifted this cactus by a coworker. She had a bunch to choose from and I, naturally, chose this one.

Oh my gosh. Just had an elderly man call and he most definitely can't hear well and I was trying to get out of him what he wanted to pick up and who it was for, but he didn't hear me ask any of that. He just kept saying he was coming at 11 tomorrow for.. something? I feel bad. Is it a pride thing like he doesn't want to ask someone else to call for him? He's gonna show up tomorrow and we won't know why. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Oh boy.

I had just enough gas for the mower to do 85% of the yard. I'll take it. No one sees that last bit anyway.

Part of me wants to go so his family doesn't think we never want to go to their events, but part of me is sure I'm gonna be bawling into my mimosa because I miss my dad.

My boyfriend was "kind" enough to set up my clock somewhere else in the room because the air conditioner is now taking up the plug I used for it previously. I thought maybe not having a clock was messing with me waking up in the middle of the night, not knowing what time it was. HOWEVER.. he also set an alarm to go off at 7:30 this morning for a day I don't have to be up. So now he must die.

My mom is adamant about these old school pull down shades and won't upgrade into this decade and the one for this window was TRASHED, so I just moved all the hardware to hang the new one I bought her.

Gotta love getting early morning texts from a coworker that the person who's supposed to be working the front desk hasn't shown up and would I maybe be able to come in. I haven't even showered or eaten breakfast yet. That's a big fat no.

Got Baldur's Gate 3 installed and started. I immediately knew what I wanted to do with my first playthrough. Has anyone seen HarmonQuest???? 😂

Finished Sherlock and now onto the next show on my list that I'm going to rewatch. Battlestar Galactica! I've seen it all before, but I never finished my rewatch from literally 10 years ago. I tried a rewatch in 2014. Favorite character? Gaeta. Had a huge crush on him.

Found a nice playlist for my current book, but I'm sure this will complement any fantasy novel or even some DnD.
