Trying to put together the bookcase my boyfriend got me and of course the dowels they include are too long and the top and bottom halves won't go together unless we trim the dowels or drill deeper holes. Of course.

I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about this style ear cuff/ear bud, but I really like them. My ears don't hurt and I don't constantly feel like one is going to fall out. (that happens to me and traditional earbuds.) They were only about $20 too. Time will tell how their battery life and all that really is.

I have to work Saturday, so I better edit my alarms now before I forget.

There's been a huge surge in clients calling us trying to get in for appointments who haven't brought their pets in for 4, 8 or even more years. I get not wanting to come in if they're healthy, but come on.

We're super short staffed at work, per usual, but today I really feel like if I close my eyes I'm gonna fall asleep at the front desk. It's so bad. I'm exhausted.

Waking up still so tired is always so much fun, isn't it?? We're going to be way understaffed today because one technician's kid just had his tonsils out, so this should be fun.

Boss called once she was already at the courthouse to let us know she got called to jury duty. Nothing like waiting until the last minute around here.

My boss would have known last night if she has jury duty or not. Did she tell us? Nope. Guess I'll find out if/when she comes in at 9.

Crying like a little baby watching last night's NCIS. And I'm only a few minutes in.

If you're going to pick up your cat's prescription food, maybe don't stay on the phone the whole time and be rude to and dismissive of the person helping you. If they tell you your cat hasn't been seen in 4 years and you have to set up an appointment, don't brush them off and say you'll call back. Hang up your stupid phone call and focus on the task at hand. I hate people.

I wish my boss would have given the new girl the crappy 12-7:30 shift instead of making me continue to work it once we had additional help. Story of my life.
