I did a Wisdom Panel DNA test on Nimoy when he was a puppy, but I've been curious about trying an Embark one too and see if I get the same results. So.. I'm doing it. It's on its way to the lab now. Let's see if they also say he's predominantly Chihuahua and poodle.

@MotherDucker I used to have a hard time with compression socks, but I found a brand called Wellow that are actually easy to put on AND actually make my legs feel better being on my feet all day at work. 👍

This is how my morning is going. The snow on the roof is leaking inside. Yay!

So after yesterday's storm stress at almost dying on the way in to work, then last night's stress from not being able to get the snowblower running, now I find out I'm working the front desk alone today. Yippee!

@sazemisery Nothing to pull out. There's a slider and a knob and the prime button, but that's it. It just only seems to work when I don't need it immediately.

I'm convinced our snowblower hates me. I can never get it to work, but when it's the weekend and my boyfriend is here.. it starts up and runs just fine. I get it started, but it doesn't want to run more than a minute or two at a time. Loves to stall for me. I don't even know how old it is, but I wanna replace it. Show it who's boss.

Another dose of cuteness while I'm stuck at work. The dog is Otis and the cat is Molly. Aww!

Snowy view out the front windows at work. While we do nothing. Because no clients are going out in this mess.

Hardly a plow in sight on my way into work this morning. The roads were really bad and the 3 of us that made it in are pissed our boss didn't close. There's no reason for us to be here wasting time for the 2 cat neuters that we could have rescheduled to a safer day.

There's definitely a few inches of snow out there, but nowhere near the 8-12 or 6-8 or 6-12 they couldn't make their minds up about. It's still coming down though, so we'll see. It's a wetter snow, so this is gonna make clean up awful.

Another vet hospital a little further north where a friend works has already announced they'll be closed for the impending snowstorm tomorrow. I'm so jealous. My boss never thinks of our safety like that.

Am I gonna be happy when I open DraftKings tomorrow, or sad? I haven't checked the score since my sister texted me they were tied in overtime.

@arunshah Things are definitely changing, because I have had barely any snow this winter and we used to get dumped on every winter. Connecticut feels weird without snow.

@amarand When I had big dogs, I used to buy those blankets for their crates because back then they were really cheap and the dogs loved them. They probably cost twice as much now and Nimoy craves softer blankies because he's spoiled.

@Cryspeg My boyfriend "owes" me a bookshelf. He gave me a dollar limit and let me pick it out. He just has to actually get it for me. For now, I have books that won't fit on my current shelves in plastic tote bins and cardboard boxes. It's a little messy in here. 😂
