Got a gut punch from my FB memories today. This is Gypsy. Everyone has that "heart dog" in their life. She was mine. The first dog I adopted on my own. I had her 15 years and lost her 9 years ago but I still cry like a baby when I think about her too long. This was one of the last pictures I took of her before she passed. ❤️❤️❤️

So, um.. how's it going? Today at work we got repeatedly pocket dialed by a client who JUST picked her dog up from surgery and all you could hear was running and screaming because it sounded like he bolted when they got home and she was chasing him. So picture a middle-aged blonde woman HAULING ASS after a 1 year old husky, screaming "BLAAAAAAZE!!!!!" She never did call to say what happened. Part of me needs to know.

Oh yeah, and Embark shows you your dog's relatives too. This doggie is named Edgrr (get it?) and he's a 56 percent relative match to Nimoy, so he may not have been from the same litter, but pretty close.

I had done a Wisdom Panel DNA kit on Nimoy when he was a puppy. For hahas, I did an Embark one on him now that he's 7. I can now confirm he's definitely mostly Chihuahua and poodle.

I did a Wisdom Panel DNA test on Nimoy when he was a puppy, but I've been curious about trying an Embark one too and see if I get the same results. So.. I'm doing it. It's on its way to the lab now. Let's see if they also say he's predominantly Chihuahua and poodle.
